We left St Pol on Saturday, 26th at 4 p.m and took the ferry in St Malo at 8 p.m. We slept in the comfortable cabins of the beautiful Pont-Aven.

We arrived in Portsmouth in the morning and we drove up to London. There, we walked around the historical centre and listened to our guide’s explanations on Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, the Parliament, Big Ben and10 Downing Street. We had lunch in a pub called The Moon Under Water where we celebrated Lisa’s 15th birthday.

Then we visited The National Gallery on Trafalgar Square. In the evening we met our host families who were really great (for most of them).The following days, we visited the Tower of London, The Museum of London, the studios of the BBC, Madame Tussauds’ wax museum, the Natural History Museum and Windsor Catsle. We also went shopping in Oxford Street on Monday … and a little bit everyday.

On Wednesday, we met our penfriends in Westwood Girl’s College for Languages and Arts. We followed them to their lessons, had lunch with them and presented them our slideshows on St Pol, our school and our region.

We were sad to go home because it was an amazing trip !!!
